LAVIQ™ (“we”, “our”) operates getlaviq.com and the following tools and related services:
This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information across all of our tools and services.
1. Information we collect
When you use our services, we may collect:
- Account and identity: If you sign in with Google (e.g. for the Apigee X Management API Tool), we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google. For tools that use credential-based login, we collect only the credentials you provide.
- Apigee configuration data: When using our tools, you may provide Apigee organization names, environment names, API credentials, service account keys, and other configuration details necessary to interact with Apigee Edge and Apigee X APIs on your behalf.
- Authentication data: For Apigee-related tools, we temporarily store access and refresh tokens so you can call Apigee and Google Cloud APIs on your behalf. These are stored in your session and are not shared.
- Migration data: When using the Apigee Edge to X Migration Tool, migration history and logs are stored temporarily to provide progress tracking and status reporting.
- Usage data: We may log general usage (e.g. visits, errors) to operate and improve our services. We do not sell this data.
2. How we use your information
We use the information to:
- Provide and operate our websites and tools, including the Apigee X Management API Tool, Apigee Edge Management API Tool, and Apigee Edge to X Migration Tool.
- Authenticate you and allow access to your own Apigee and Google Cloud resources.
- Facilitate API proxy, shared flow, KVM, developer, and other entity management and migration between Apigee Edge and Apigee X.
- Respond to your requests and improve our services.
3. Sharing of data
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties for their marketing. Data may be shared only as needed to operate our services (e.g. with Google for sign-in and API access, or with Apigee Edge and Apigee X APIs to perform operations you request) or when required by law.
4. Security and retention
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. Session and token data are kept only as long as needed for your session and are cleared when you sign out. Service account keys and API credentials are used only during your active session and are not persisted beyond the session lifecycle.
5. Your choices
You can sign out of any of our tools at any time, which clears your session data. For tools that use Google sign-in, you can revoke our app’s access in your Google Account permissions.
6. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated policy.
